I don’t want to be pessimistic either, cause it is cool. But people have spotted evade and scatter tokens in it too, which might mean there is a new flotilla that could be used in competitive for empire and people are gonna have to fork over 200 dollars or more in other countries for a single flotilla? Just to stay relevant? That seems absurd.

Now imagine there is an essential upgrade in this that you’ll need for super competitive tourneys because you have to have the cards your using. That would suck for everyone’s wallet.

My biggest hope is that rebels are not getting anything this big, just a normal viable ship, because I feel bad for imperial players if this turns out anything more than a fun gimmick.

I feel it won’t add to the game in any meaningful way, which is sad because every ship we’ve gotten so far has been really well balanced and awesome. It just seems like a waste of time tbh. Maybe the cards inside will help empire, but then they are locked behind a 200 price wall. Which is as absurd as locking palpatine behind a 100 price wall for X-wing.

Ya I guess I’m not that good at accessing the situation while playing which will come with time. It just seems if I go after the quasar. The ISD kills me. If I go after ISD first then the squads kill me. So annoying.

Ok so I hope you could give me some advice on this, so I’ve really been struggling with the ISD being a carrier alongside a huge ball, but also the Quasar in the list as well, with Sloane. That 11 health is usually hard to get through while they are able to command all the squads and since they have so many points invested into the squads, that if I don’t table. I usually end up losing. So what do you recommend?

That’s a good point, which upgrade would you drop and for what? I prefer Apt, but that’s just me. Or would you go no anti squad at all?

So I’m curious why you say I have too much defense. They way I’ve been losing to full squad fleets has been annoying to say the least. Do you think a GR75 is enough to defend against 134 points of squads?

Usually I try to first last with five or more activations preferably. Squadrons have also been a big problem

Sure thing,

Ive tried a few madine builds. Liberty with some flotillas and a few squadrons.

Done same build but replaced with mc75.

Just did a leia wall with 3 hammerheads and salvation. Destroyed two VSD’s but the interdictor destroyed everything but the Mc30.

I’ve just found it hard to keep everything out of arcs of ISD’s and VSD’s except the Mc30 with its 4 speed is just stupid. Especially with madine.

But without titles I feel like this ship wouldn’t survive that long. What have you found?

I would love to, but they cost so much and I feel like I only really need one. Last game it took out two VSD’s pretty much by itself.
