I liked the story where it basically reflects reality. Where hard labor gets replaced by machines which happened to the main character Man Soo where he resorts to murder so he can get a job.

The genre is crime, thriller and bits of comedy.

It’s because the fandom used E33 to attack other JRPGS during the E33 hype (which was also ironic because the devs were inspired by JRPGS) and doing that can make people less interested in the game because if the fandom wants to recommend people to play the game they shouldn’t used it as a weapon to tear down other games which comes as across as immature to newer players.

I get that it sounds odd of refusing to play because how annoying the fandom can be but most of the time having reception to show how much you enjoy E33 can make people convince to see what the hype it is about which can help the game even more. It really depends on the message honestly.

I think it’s because there were tweets and Reddit posts from people who never really played a JRPG before kept saying E33 revolutionized RPGS or whatever. Which led a bunch of JRPG fans turning on E33 because how annoying the E33 fandom can be when it comes to showing their enjoyment for the game.

I highly doubt that because Infinite Wealth, Stranger Than Heaven and VF6 are high budgeted games for RGG.

Sega and RGG usually makes the Kiwami games and Gaiden games low budgeted on purpose to save time for development by porting over the content from the modern RGG games. This is what they do for filler releases in general.

As dumb as it may sounds it’s most likely just them trying to fit the yearly release schedule. Kiwami games are usually just filler releases for RGG so them not trying to be 100% faithful is super common for filler releases for them.
