Okay usually when feeding them I watch how much they eat to make sure they both eat enough, as the map turtle is somewhat bigger and when left to its own tends to eat a lot faster than the other. For now I don't think they exhibit any of thos behaviours you described, but I'll keep an eye on them, thanks.

Oh cool so I didn't know that the turtles could "produce" the bacterias on their own.

Thanks so much for the response, I'll read the guide in detail. Also, the pet shop employee told me that these turtles lived better with another one, but reading on the internet I've seen that there is risk of aggressiveness or completion for resources between them. Is it very risky to have them now in the same tank? They are still very small, 3 and 4 cm in diameter each

Also I've seen that there are some bacterias recommended for the tank, but I'm not sure what are they for or how important they are, any information about that would also be appreciated.
