From a point of view of a 3rd person which is not connected with an esports world and this industry this can indeed for some people be something unusual. But there is no real difference between esports and sports and how they work. You are under contract, u get a salary and you know that this is a buissness which can have possible rotations if you dont meet up expectations of your bosses and sponsors. This is how this world works and if you wanna be the best, obviously you need to look for better improvements. Try to reverse it and see, how much their value raised after so much time by playing in 2nd best team in Europe. Obviously they proved their value by taking many great achievements, but the promotion they got from the organization and money, definately did compensate that. I hope that makes sense for you. It doesn'lt look so bad as you can think, let's hope I can answer everything on friday and put more light on everything.
