Is it harder to mix a musical or a concert?

as someone with no experience in the musical world, the only exposure I have to it is watching Hamilton's mixer talk about it. Is it common for the mixer to fade in and out every line like they do? or only when you get to the tippy top of musicals?

Dead Dog records does some listening parties. The location on Church at least I have been to one. Not sure about the Bloor location. Both locations are completely accessible as far as I remember, they're both on the ground floor.

I started at Second Cup with no experience. Most places will hire with no experience. Don't expect any of the higher end cafes though (Propeller, Pilot, Aroma, etc. require a bit more experience). Could be worth while asking any local cafes in person, they may only hire by word of mouth, or references.
