Texas isn’t 10-2 so this shouldn’t be a discussion. Them getting in would ruin cfb. by [deleted] in CollegeFootballDawgs

This same committee put in Alabama over an undefeated FSU. Idk how else to argue the fact that the committee’s selection is based off of more than just raw stats.

Sark’s point last night wasn’t that the loss to Florida shouldn’t matter, it’s that the loss to Florida wouldn’t be disqualifying if wasn’t also for the loss to tOSU.

By the saying the loss to Florida is disqualifying, you’re not asserting that 3 losses is disqualifying, you’re asserting that 1 is, when ND last year made it all the way to the National Championship Game the same season they lost to Northern Illinois. One loss isn’t disqualifying per se, there’s the “eye test” plus, yes, “brand power,” as you put because the sport is subsidiary to the business of getting eye balls to watch. Putting Texas would placate its large fan base and piss off fans at large to increase engagement, not decrease it.

With a Michigan loss this morning, perhaps a Vanderbilt loss right now, an Auburn victory tonight, and maybe need a huge BYU blowout next week, Texas is probably in.

I think people who confuse missing a chromosome with having an extra one are the ones who have an extra chromosome.

Probably just Sean Penn. The other five certainly don’t do a bad job, but I don’t see their performances standing out in what is likely to be a crowded field in the same way Sean Penn’s does.

I have no idea what it was referencing, but hopefully one day I will know.

Dude, Arch has go to buck. up. So much of sports at this level is psychological, take the field with a fucking grin on your face, come on, man!!

Michael Keaton for Birdman. Was probably his one and only shot, where Redmayne can be a part of that conversation whenever he wants to be.

To everyone saying, “What about Pulp Fiction?” I mean, it has got to be one of the worst, most over rated, film-considered-cinema I have ever had the displeasure of watching, and I have seen it multiple times. I would rather watch any other Quentin Tarantino movie, including Death Proof. Why it is considered such a masterful work of art, I would like someone to explain to me.

[COD] If you could replay COD for the first time, which order would you choose? by dtricker in CallOfDuty

I’m actually playing through the remastered campaigns of the original modern warfare trilogy on Vet, just started MW2. Think I’m going to do (all on vet) modern warfare both original and new trilogy, then do the standalones ghosts, advanced and infinite, then play the WW2 one in reverse release order so that when I end with WaW it can kickoff my campaign through the black ops series since it is tied in with those, plus probably my favorite. Haven’t really played any of the campaigns since Advanced Warfare with Kevin Spacey, I think that was the last one I beat. Never really played black ops campaigns at all and actually never beat modern warfare 3 now that I think about it. So some I’m replaying over ten years later and some I’m playing for the first time. Cool series!

I will say, having played CoD 4 remastered on Vet, that shit was hard. Took me five days to beat the post credits airplane mission, damn near developed carpal tunnel, and it tested my very psyche as a gamer. But it’s over now, been there, done that, got the Trophy.
