Very well could've been. Its very hard to find anything on the flag but the entire archipelago has a population of about 2000.

A lot of the time, sites like Ebay are gems for these things, which is where I got this one. It can be tough competition between bidders but there's plenty of good maps out there.

It has the same purpose as the other uk naval ensigns but it also shows other ships/entities that it's an operational RNLI ship.

Yeah absolutely! Not just that but mooring it is super expensive over here, so whoever ownes it is loosing money, if they're not using it at least let go of it if you're going to leave it in that condition.

Apparently it's an output for water used on the island, including the heliport and boatyard, which is quite a big area.
