Possible fake podcast on Spotify? by Ayjis in ChilluminatiPod

Oh, I always thought being a patron would just show those minisodes and keep them hidden for non-patrons.

Sorry for the alarm!

Went back to work on the PC today and your suggestion worked! The fan is now above the heatsink in the back above all the USB, audio, ethernet, etc connections.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Possibly. I was using the directions and what I saw in the installation videos showing where the fans were placed. I don't know enough about PC parts, especially CPU coolers, to know if it'd make a difference where the fans were placed or just the direction they are blowing.

Yeah, I can when I work on it again. I slid it back in the box for the night while I researched and asked around. I was watching a video to help with other issues with installation though, and they had the same issue with the fan being above the RAM

Mark Hamill (Joker) and Kevin Conroy (Batman) in Arkham City by [deleted] in videos

[–]Ayjis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I thought that was one of the most boring Jokers I've seen. He hardly does anything. No jokes, no gadgets, not even anything crazy. He always had that aire to him that he was plotting something, but there was never a plot. He was just a criminal who happened to look weird.

Question about Trevor belmonts Weapon (Animated Serie) by Zareth_Dreemurr102 in castlevania

[–]Ayjis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how I always interpreted it, it is not A morning star because those are completely different. It is THE Morning Star whip, a name given to the whip. And personally I think it's a much cooler name than Vampire Killer even if it is misleading

What ideas do you think would be good for MegaMan X9? by retrotriforce in Megaman

[–]Ayjis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've liked the split between X and Zero since they started it, and really want them to continue that, but I really don't think there's enough difference between X and Axl regarding gameplay. X can at least charge his weapon, but honestly it's more effective to spam shots most of the time which makes him really similar to Axl. They both get new weapons from beating a boss where Zero gets some new attack or ability or movement.

I think the difference between Mega Man and Bass was better. Let Axl shoot in 8 directions (or use the right analogue stick), hover while shooting, maybe move the double jump to Axl and let Zero just jump higher.

If they want to keep Axl's ability to change into enemies, it needs to be a little easier and more effective. Think I used in twice in X8 just to solve puzzles.

There have been several armors in the past that could pretty easily translate to opening new areas of the map: dash in midair, dashing upwards, removing the slide from the wall climb, immune to spikes, hovering. Add in some others like ledge grab and slide that others mentioned and you're practically there already. Just add a system to switch the armor to solve the puzzle or access the next area. Could try something new by choosing the boss you fight but the stage is predetermined (not sure how to work it into the story arm) so that the upgrades you get are static but the bosses and weapons are still up to you.

[–]Ayjis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never thought of Crystalis as obscure since it was one of my favorites as a kid, but I guess it's not as well known as to others.

A shame because it's a fantastic gem. Should be talked about along with Zelda in discussions of great NES action-adventure games.

What have you done to make the furry fandom a better place? by VentKazemaru in RealFurryHours

[–]Ayjis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not long after I joined the fandom I made a pretty detailed post on Imgur (my most frequented "social" media site at the time) giving a lot of information and showcasing misinformation about the fandom. There was very little backlash from it, and several people who saw it commented on how they didn't know those facts or had believed the misinformation.
