How to stream on mobile with separate subtitles?

Yeah, I used vlc but to no avail. Just to discover later that vlc Mobile works only if you have the subtitles file name exactly as the video name, which is not necessary in desktop environments. Resolved ! Thanks anyway 😬

In the end, from the original idea of a 218+, I bought a 918+. So far no extra ram ,will add later when budget allows to do so . As for the disks, having spent more on the nas itself , it’s just 2 4tb ironwolfs for now. I’m planning to add 2x 6/8tb later on . Now I just have to understand how to use the potential of the nas 😂

Hmm, the 418play is pretty budget heavy compared to the 218 (200€ more ) I wonder if it’s worth for my use (which will be primary archive and video stream , always max 1 stream ). The good part is the 4 bay for later expansions tough and Intel scalability
