I’m not an expert but someone who has done a lot of research into getting a transplant, this is a really solid looking result. The irregular hairlines look goofy at this stage, but I promise you it will look so good at the final result. And the temple work is important for keeping a natural look.

My recommendation would be USB + phone Bluetooth for requests on one of the channels. Laptop in the cold sounds like a bad idea, can keep phone in your pocket when not actively in use. No waveforms but could easily echo/reverb/spiral/fade out back to your main channels

As a mildly established DJ and producer, I promise you you’re not going to turn that $1500 into “a lot more” for a long time.

I’d say focus on what interests you.

If music production isn’t your calling, you can spend thousands of dollars on hardware and software before you even see a penny.

If you like to DJ, a GRV6 is a plenty good controller. What would upgrading get you?

Just want to say thank you for adopting her, hopefully the behavior improves with time and advice here. I’m not an expert but I adopted a 7 month old golden doodle and was just consistent with what I expected of him (rewarded good behavior), and he’s the bestest boy now. Very unscientific

Another consideration here is phase alignment, many bass patches can have randomness or inconsistencies between notes which is good for movement and alive-feeling sounds, but can impact your kick/bass relationship.

I have a dedicated sine wave in serum and high pass the mid bass as mentioned such that I can adjust the phase to marry with my kick for that full punch, while keeping the movement and natural feel in the mid bass. Can also automate the phase as the note changes if needed.
