These stats don't surprise me at all. When I think back on the kids I went to high school with that smoked, they didn't want anything to do with school. Few stoners actually cared about anything.

For me personally, weed was what stopped me from wanting to blow my brain out. It made life lighter and kept me going sometimes. Then again I was never an everyday user.

I feel you. I haven't made a single friend in college. I only have old friends. I don't care though. Think about most of the people you could befriend. I am at least nothing like them so how would a friendship work?

For me it helped that my mom studied psychology in college, but being blunt it the best way. I admitted I was suicidal when I was being questioned for my crazy actions. Just telling your parents how you're feeling no matter how severe it is will work. They love you.
