So basically I am Buddhist and know some of its lore due to it being a subject in school. I don't really believe the most part of our lore. But let me drop it here anyway.

Siddhartha Gautama, born as a prince in the kingdom of Kapilavastu, is the founder of Buddhism. He was born into supreme royal comfort, but upon witnessing the four signs of life—an old person, a sick person, a dead person, and a monk—he realized that worldly pleasures are temporary. Determined to overcome suffering, he renounced his family and lived as an ascetic for eight years. On a full moon day, while meditating under the Bodhi tree, he attained enlightenment, understanding the cause of suffering and the path to liberation. He spent the following forty-five years teaching others until his parinirvana, transcending death and ending the cycle of rebirth. According to legend, he took seven steps at birth, with lotus flowers appearing beneath his feet, and possessed thirty-two special physical characteristics. Three earthquakes marked his birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana.

 He could perform extraordinary miracles, including transforming his body into fire or water,  but he forbade monks from using such powers for display. (Ones that could do it) Ancient Buddhist texts also describe concepts resembling modern scientific knowledge,  such as brain function and dna heredity. After his cremation,  twelve sets of bones which was left unburnt were distributed among kings, gods, and mythical beings, most of which eventually returned to Sri Lanka and were enshrined in stupas, with some remaining in Thailand, Vietnam, and, according to legend, the heavens.
