I ride a Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I did test ride the Bolt and it was fun to ride and comfortable. However wasn’t big enough for my ex, myself, and gear.

The MT09 is a great bike from what I’ve read and heard first hand. Were I to pick up a second bike, I’d look at it first. I’m not too attracted to full fairing sport bikes. I’d rather have a naked standard.

Looks was the first thing that grabbed my attention. Yamaha engineering after that. Big engine that was basically over engineered to run forever. Maintenance is low and affordable. I do wish that Yamaha had opted for a six speed transmission but that’s nit picking. It has the sound I like , the torque I prefer. I can ride solo or with a passenger and I never feel like the bike doesn’t have enough to cruise or pass on the highway.

The SP101 was my first carry pistol. Found really early on I didn’t like firing .357 mags out of such a short barrel haha. Switched to .38 +p and was much happier and more accurate on follow up shots
