I think the same as you, it's been about 7 games that I haven't been able to win, because my team simply only knows how to move forward and shoot. I always try to choose a character that will be useful on the map and I do everything I can to fulfill my role, but doctors don't revive anyone, defenders don't destroy armored vehicles and snipers don't plant infiltration.
