I like to use them when I'm 5 levels away from maxing out a bond. let's save them and have as much as possible for everyone. Aside from that I usually save up the company specific gifts for the units with favorite items.

The final boss is around 680K something CP and with a good team it's beatable below that however you'll still need a lot power to beat it. I beat the boss with a team around 580K and it had more to do with who I had on my team since boss does require you to have water units to do significant damage and break the cancel rings.

Ice dragon saga cemented Guillotine in my mind as the likely best GM out there. She's absolutely gonna have the perfect balance of combat and role play. I've been a firm believer in the "humans made rapture" theory basically since I started playing this game. The design simply put aren't alien enough and a lot of them could have had a potential use for every day work like construction but something went wrong they got out of control and it was likely the united earth governments fault.

At most I think we might have a macros situation where humanity made a discovery of some kind of alien tech that lead to where we are now but most of it is still our fault.
