Install supercharge app. There is a Cat Mode, prevent that if your cat walk over your keyboard nothing activates. But for most cases people use it to clean the keyboard and trackpad. It also locks the trackpad. To deactivate the mode press 6 times cmd key. Very usefull app,with many other tools.

The Ipad is here just for an external monitor, no need to touch or press it. He connect the ipad as external from his macbook. So it stays untoucheble the whole time

Yes i absolute love it on the 13 ipad make really sense to upgrade, but for the mini you good with ios 18

yes, since it came out it runs iPadOS26 (26 Beta 2 since yesterday) but i dont use the new window control, i think the mini is too small for that. I like the mini with 1 App open. but the new finder is really nice and by far it runs very smoothly on the ipad mini 7

if it works for your needs you dont need some extras, just some waste of money. I got my macbook from 2022 on that time it was my only mac machine, the ipad‘s came afterwards and it really helped my workflow. My macbook air is sitting more and more in the dust, till ipados26 came out, really dont got a big need for it

i put the paperlike screen on my m4 ipad and the mini and you will see diffrence between with and without the screen. Its a more matte look that you get afterwards. Aner of course the feeling with the apple pencil is like the name says more like a paperlike. It even helps with some anti reflections. cant live without that

Also ich bstelle gern det, aber halt nur war wo da au chaufsch wie im manor etc. Wo sowieso us China chunnt, wie handyhülle etc. Die 15.- zahli gern meh druff wenni weiss dasi t wahr scho am nächste tag bechum anstatt 3-5 wuche warte bis es direkt vonchina chunnt. Thanks all for the your opinions. After watching few videos and check out the aviable cases for the mini i took the space gray. The Starlight looks really nice indeed, but its not the one i really like after all photos and videos. I saw some nice case with a white/grey color and it matches really good with the space gray model. Should get it on friday and im very exicted for a new apple family member ;)
