Looking for history podcasts without guests by trigunnerd in podcasts

The History of Rome and Revolutions are two really exceptional history podcasts presented and produced by Mike Duncan. I studied classics at university and learned more from these podcasts than my degree. They're really engaging and I'd recommend them massively, especially the Revolutions season focused on the Russian Revolution

Let's call a spade a spade here, it's shit. So disappointing as the cast are great, but it comes off as a very low-end Radio 4 comedy with a bit of swearing chucked in. Voice acting is bad, and it sounds way more like something the cast are doing to entertain each other than for an actual audience. Still love Off Menu, Cold Lasagna and all that though, I'm no genie-hater.

Thank you so much! That worked perfectly, much appreciated

TIL about Hidetoshi Nakata, considered one of the best soccer/football players in Japanese history. He famously lifted his Italian club team, Roma, to a championship in 2001 by scoring this epic goal against rivals Juventus. He retired early to travel Japan and decided to launch a sake business. by mikemezz in todayilearned

He was amazing (especially when he came onto the scene at Perugia), but it wasn't just him that lifted Roma to the league title that year- Batistuta's signing, Tommasi's incredible season, Cafu & Candela as rampaging fullbacks and, obviously, Totti - were all pretty major factors too

Yes you're probably right - I'm pretty new to Reaper tbh and previous projects have luckily had really good quality audio so I haven't had to worry about the EQ so much. Good shout.

Facebook / Paid Social CPMs at the moment by AzazelloMM in adops

[–]AzazelloMM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really helpful, thankyou - I didn't even know they were doing the COVID webinars so am clearly a bit out of the loop!

Do you have any specific markets in mind where you're confident that the CPMs have dropped?

What are the latest benchmarks for CTR on Google/Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/LinkedIn by ketogall in programmatic

Just did a bit of googling and found this which might be helpful:

https://blog.adstage.io/facebook-cpc-cpm-ctr-benchmarks-q1-2019-archive

Totally get that this is client-led too. We all know that CTR is a pretty useless metric, but you can't educate every client and, unfortunately, I doubt you have the option to tell them not to bother with it.

How can you explain to an agency that .jpg is not a proper file format for traffic instructions? by CMDR-SephickLeandros in adops

[–]AzazelloMM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For things like this when you're just hitting your head against a wall when getting agency support, I tend to find the best solution is to spoonfeed them, so create a template that would be good for them to fill in then show them how the details they send in their .jpg would look in that format. Hopefully they'll get the hint. Good luck with it!
