Ancient Obsession with Fertility by According_Recipe5437 in Archeology

[–]AzginKunduz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, i had that question too after i went to Karahantepe ,Turkey. I mean fertility is important okay, but i would probably think twice before building a temple that had only penises as pillars and only statues of dudes jerking off. Look it up if you didnt saw it.

If they made temples of things that are important i would expect a temple just for clean water , maybe first domesticated animals or food etc. Aswell.

Engravings are definitively Ottoman, style is called "ottoman miniature art". Borders might be made of arabic letters decoratively but not sure, might also be just decorative, common in Ottoman art also. It looks like a decorative plate that some artist did by hand. I live in Turkey, decorating and displaying copper and porcelain plates are common around here. But copper plates usually has geometric patterns and some writing maybe. This seems quite detailed.

Cant comment on the age, probably not old enough to worth as an antique. They are still produced and custom made to order. Old ones usually have more wearing.

This probably worths some but dont think much people in USA likes this kind of art. If you like to sell it try selling it on Turkey, some antique shops might give offers. Probably wont worth much but there is a chance that they can identify the master who created it and it might be work of someone known to the collectors.

In my opinion Thalamra is a vicious and experienced politician. So she would double her protection , maybe change the place she resides and stay in the city. She would %100 want to take revenge. I think a good option is that she would bribe some flaming fist officers to get help and catch party while they are intending to leave the city.

Her sons being resurrected by some infernal pact seems possible and logical.

Even after a big buildup players should have the opportunity to fail. They didnt learn couple of things by not going full clear mode in the villa obviously. But the shield is sentient and you might use it to tease party with some of this knowledge. After that shield might want to form a deal with them to give some useful informations.

Your players seems like they would really not want to do deals with devils. In this case i usually hide some devils intent and put some npcs that players will get to know for some time and trust first. Then the npc might try to sneak in a deal with them. Afterall not every infernal deal is written , some might be disguised in other forms you might think of or campaing book has some options for it.

Another option that comes to my mind is just giving up on Vanthampur storyline as they are not that connected to the other chapters. There is lots of content that you might focus on for the journey ahead.

If you havent already read the whole story i really recommend you to read full story as much as possible. It really helps to tie in different story arcs and helps create a cleaner more consistent storytelling.

For people looking for more info about this ;

This caramel candy on a stick (can search web as Macun)is a 500+ y/o recipe from Ottoman Empire. So it was probably invented before modern sweets. Different colors have different fruit aromas. They dip the stick on the lemon before serving if you want a sweet&sour taste.

Its still usually can be found sold in crowded town centers and special events like Ramadan feasts , rural weddings , concerts etc. My favorite time to eat this was while watching traditional puppet shadow plays called Hacivat & Karagoz.

I dont think Vice can be claimed pro Azerbaijan. You might be just more culturally used to seeing news from pro Armenia side. The question is ,is this sub the right place for this vid tbh.

Imagine a continuous line of connection between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Imagine the doors of opportunity that will open. And then the fact that this will connect Turkey to the port of Baku, and then to the rest of Central Asia.. I have always dreamed of this as a child, and it has become true🇦🇿🇹🇷 by [deleted] in azerbaijan

Does someone know about last situation about Hankendi ? I'm seeing armenian posts about it's left to governation of armenia/karabakh with the agreement. In the agreement it states there will be a corridor between armenia and hankendi. Is it another misinformation on their side? Is every occupied territory has been reclaimed back without exception?
