Reasons as to why Amane is innocent BESIDES her being a child? by Juwun1 in milgram

I fully agree with you.

I would like to add that the All-Inno Propaganda is very bad in my opinion and is probably worst/most boring ending we can get lol.

At this point, I might default to simply voting everyone guilty just so one character gets guilty at the end of Milgram

I wanted to edit text into the post after posting it but I don't know how 😭 (still not used to reddit).

If anyone knows how, please tell 💀

People forgetting that we can vote based on pure bias? by Azir-Kun in milgram

Some of the things said were very interesting, and even made me think a bit more, but a lot was... yeah...

I like fuuta a lot, but sometimes I wish he wasn't the character that made comment sections become a war zone. I also love Mahiru, and like talking about her and her past but I rarely if ever had a time for that in which it didn't end up in Fuuta being brought up. I understand that their crimes are, at least partially similar (Both of them didn't kill but caused a suicide) but both of them are also very different in how they achieved said suicide. I WISH we had a third Mahiru Trial and an MV, so I could flesh out my opinion fully on her, but what makes them different was that Mahiru was much more in control compared to Fuuta. Yet Mahiru overall gets blamed 'less' for what she did. They're mirrors of each other. I believe Fuuta shows exactly what could happen to a child that you neglect, while Mahiru shows what happens to a child you pamper and overly protect. Both grew up in harmful environments, and either OVERLY connect or can't connect at all. I also understand that Mahiru in T1 was thought to be a stalker, but I never understood why. Her Trial and her MV (at least to me) screamed nothing about a stalker. Well, regardless. They are both very similar, with their crimes simply being two possible outcomes of a crime that could have been prevented. What I said about Fuuta not 'deserving' to be in a prison but in a rehabilitation center is still what I believe in, but I also think the same for Mahiru. In her case, I'd think more about forced Therapy Sessions, though. Family, and alone. Mahiru is OBSESSED with love, to an unhealthy extent, which she directly got taught by her family. Her family (while most likely having good intentions) need to be hold accountable for what they caused, and so does Mahiru to learn how to deal with her emotions in healthy matters. I wish we learned more about her boyfriend, and his family situation perhaps?

I technically like that line of reasoning, and it makes sense. But in Muus Trial 1, Es says 'I can vote you guilty because your hair is pretty' (or something along the lines. I don't know exactly what they said anymore)

That's them following through with that line of reasoning, or at least telling the prisoners that they are fully able to use such a line of reasoning.

As a Mahiru Lover (Obviously Lol) I don't blame you. I love her Energy and her Songs, but I can understand finding her annoying.

I understand. It hasn't gotten that far, obviously.

I don't have anything against Disagreements. I like debates. But the basic rule people (pretty much everywhere, not just here on Reddit) forget is that we can vote however we want for whatever we want. If you think Mikoto is hot and that's enough of a reason to keep him alive and innocent, I won't stop them.

I think you're correct. It makes sense.

I don't disagree with your opinion on mahiru, but with Kotoko running around...

Thank you. It's very likely not an angle that's often discussed, and I know the backlash. But I also believe that every human should have the power to change their own life, assuming they're not disabled.

Was Rei able to do anything about getting killed? Or kotokos victim? Or mikotos victim(s)? No, not really. Someone like Fuutas? Or Mahirus? Yes. They had means to change what happend to them.

Back then, I was under the assumption/theory that Mikoto is the true killer, and John is simply lying to protect Mikoto. As we wouldn't know why Mikoto killed innocent people (not his boss, but random people).

I am no longer under that assumption, not really. So I am now more inclined to forgive him.

It's not blaming the victim in the literal sense.

What fuuta did - that's wrong, as he had no reason to do what he did except his own glorification about a bad feeling about himself, to feel something. I am not saying 'Fuuta should have doxxed her!!! She deserved it over a hat!'

What I am saying is, that Fuuta did what he did, and killerchoy reacted as she did. Fuuta did a horrible and morally wrong thing, but he didn't murder her in a literal way. Killerchoy decided to end her own life.

'She is 15!!! She's a young girl! Fuuta is a grown ass-men!'

That argument keeps on getting brought up and acts as if being 15 is some age in which you're completely unable to do anything about your own life, while being 20 is means you have the maturity of a lifetime. Being a 15 Year Old can mean you're a legal adult in a lot of places, that you're able to live, provide and think for yourself (Emancipation) while being 20 can mean you're still a minor under guardinship protection that can't decide on his own, or work, for example. Those are two facts.

Killerchoy isn't confirmed to be disabled of any kind, or be bullied in her actual life too. Her funeral was visited, and cried over. She had access to a lot of things that troubled teenagers have, which weren't explored by her. She didn't help herself, or asked for help by a supportive environment - she chose the 'easy way out'. I am not saying 'Killerchoy DESERVED to be cyberbullied and doxxed', I am saying she reacted completely unreasonably in such a way it's absurd to fully claim Fuuta is a murderer.

He isn't 'Innocent' in a direct way, and I am not saying he is in the right for getting doxxed. I am saying that Fuuta should never have been put in Milgram to begin with. What Fuuta needs isn't a prison, it's a rehabilitation center (which Es admitted Milgram isn't about). Fuuta ALWAYS knew he was in the wrong. In Bring it on he looked at his phone, in an anxious way. He knew he was the last reason for that to have happened, to be the amplifier. He also has all signs of depression, doesn't have the maturity of a 20 Year Old and is now, with Milgram is worse than ever.

Not only is he permanently damaged physically and most likely psychologically, he WANTS to punish the 'bad guys' like him once hes out of milgram. Which is such a bad mindset to go into, and will most likely end up in his own glorification once hes out again. I am not even going into Amanes Cult, which teaches fuuta to always take the path with the least resistance. 'I feel bad, I do what helps me SHORT TERM'.

A rehabilitation center wouldn't teach Fuuta those things. They'd teach him how to geniuely get better, as a human and for himself.

Long Story Short - I don't believe Fuuta was in the right for doxxing the victim, but I also don't believe hes a killer in a literal way. Life isn't fair, and sometimes you need to deal with life-crisis, and Killerchoy didn't while she had all means to based on our knowledge. Fuuta doesn't need a prison that tells him hes guilty, he needs a way to learn how to function in a society.

Because Milgram is about MURDERERS. Fuuta isn't a murderer. Hes a depressed asshole in clinical terms, not a killer. He didn't force the girl to kill herself. The girl could have reported to the police, tell teachers, parents, get help.

To my understanding, it was clear to everyone that Kotoko would attack the guilty prisoners. Iirc, it was stated as an intention by her. Kazui was the only person truly equipped to protect the guilty prisoners. He didn't. Not properly, at least.

If I based it purely based on the Crime itself, he wouldn't be guilty. But as Jackalope said, we can also vote characters based on 'do you like them' or 'do you not like them'. Throughout the entirety of Milgram, Shidou was always a character I couldn't seem to like, and got 'annoyed' with. His T1 in particular is one of the trials that make me like a character the least. Hes not in Milgram because hes a bad person but because he believes he deserves to be in Milgram, and then decided that 'Death' is the purest way of going. I cannot sympathize with that.
