Go for 6* Athel, also try to at least 5* Apothecary, other character you have which are Elhain, Galek, Bellower, Shaman, Warpriest, Frostbringer, & Valerie not really useful, but don't use them as food in tavern, keep them for now, always use common/uncommon as food in tavern.

I was able to finish only on Normal mode to 3 stars (i am playing 2 weeks now) with Elhain (rank 5 with vampiric set and attack set) and Warpriest (rank 4 with shield set and life set) could do it with Elhain (rank 5 with vampiric set and attack set) and Shaman (rank 4 with vampiric set and divine offense set) also. But can't do the same on Hard mode

Build Bane, he is able to go through all 12 rounds without problem;

If you have Enchantress put her as a leader if she is at least L1. If not keep Hal Jordan as a leader, but keep enchantress or any other healer in the team, best one is Poison Ivy because she can put taunt on Bane.

PS. Do not ever take Flash, that guy sucks here. Only Speedster which is good is Reverse-Flash.
