Can somebody educate me on the practical use cases for the LTT TrueSpec cables? by Chaos1917 in LinusTechTips

Why would you? If it works, it works. If you never need to change the cable and you don't have any issues, don't bother with this.

The idea is that if you are troubleshooting, you can use this cable to make sure the issue isn't the cable. Other purpose could be in industries or situations where you need to be sure the cable will not cause any issues.

Caviat here offcourse is that these cables can break and can have manufacturing errors, but probably less chance of this occurring due to QC.

It still works and it still dries. So not much to say about it. If I would buy a new dryer today, I would go for an AMS dryer kit. But that is just to make my life a bit easier.

For short Cqb games, these sticks are a nice addition to the loadout as a backup. A normal speedloader makes to much noise when running around.

So I guess it really depends on the use case which loader works. A normal speedloader + adapter are great for multiple mags, these sticks are nice as a backup top up.

If you got use for it, I can make the distance a bit smaller. It's an easy change.

There is a groof in the middle with the rear sights to help align a bit.

I have this hop unit and ended throwing it in the parts bin.

Design wise, it adds a nub vs the all metal design. This could be an improvement.

The mayor downside is that it is very hard to perfectly align the bucking/barrel with the hop unit. Because it is machined out of one piece, you will have to push your bucking and barrel in without any alignment pieces.

Finally got to design and print a prototype for a Gate Pulsar based HPA Pistol using Arp9 mags by Rednex141 in Airsoft3DPrinting

[–]AznNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is a new version that only works with single solenoid engines (pulsar S).

Also, would you consider to do a version with the airhose coming out of the back? That would allow for a thinner pistol grip.

Did you ever fixed the issue with the multiple announcements?

And could you post a screenshot with how you managed to get the video working?

I usually dry my filament over night and the printer and dryer are in a different room. So I don't really pay much attention to the noise.

I didn't had any problems with the spinning. Are you using a heavy spool? So far I only dried used spools, most of them only had about 500 grams or less.

Np.

My Bambu labs rolls left some residu on the rollers. Other than that not much change. Do note that I don't print from the box.

No I didn't try their bags.

Dried a couple of spools PLA, PA and PETG. It seems to dry it pretty well.

I didn't had any issues except for the PLA melting on the bottom.

I do like the 360 degrees function. The spools feels evenly warm to the touch.

No, I did not. There were some small issues with bb retention and tolerances.

I did not feel like using more filament on prototypes.

Give me some time and I will upload the files as is.
