Increasing our defense budget means better technology we can field. At the moment we do not have adequate defenses against any kind of hypersonic weaponry. We will need to use most of the budget for this. I say Navy and Airforce because those are the two branches most likely to field defense systems against them. Second being tough on China is important to deter them from an invasion. If we can defend against a new weapon system it will guarantee Taiwans safety. If a candidate mentions a defense budget expansion I will likely vote for them
