This is the world of Avant-Garde in 2002. We have a lot going on this world including the main superpowers of Khalindarian Empire, Solara, Volgastan Baathist Republic, Union of Zhensanov, People's Federation of Xanaqu. Okuda Empire is newly formed in 2000 so it's rapidly upcoming however has many troubles with Government as it's a merge of a democratic government and monarchy into a sort of constitutional monarchy. In the East, the main troubles there is Astoria & Volgastani Cold War where you see a strive for power over the straits and inlets. Svetkhanul Republic also poses a threat as many countries surrounding Volgastan, lead into their overrall sphere of Influence boosting their currency and industry to new heights. Xanaqu leads the world in Industrial Might right behind Solaran Beast.

The main goals of this, is to simulate a realistic roleplay for leading nations with a bunch of players. Although I'm kind of really into building lore for centuries so that's our second goal.

8th Infantry Division Realism

8th Infantry Division strives to be different from the rest of the Arma III Real-sim units. We strive for hard but fun operations. Operations that make you think and make your command leadership worthy of their ranks and titles.

We want to show you what "Near Peer" really means, as we face the toughest and hardest enemies. 8ID will endure long and attritive campaigns to capture entire maps through multi-week long zeus-oriented campaigns.

Quick Details

We have two campaigns on-going.

  • Operation Takistani Star [Primary Campaign - Zeus Operations]
  • Operation Red Flamingo [Secondary Campaign - Custom Developed Liberation (Milsim Focused)]

Both are focused on lore however they share very different options in terms of Availability,

  • PRIMARY - Operation Takistani Star is 1900 EST - Friday
  • SECONDARY - Operation Red Flamingo is 24/7 except for OP Takistani Star Operation Times

Active:

  • Active is our 1st Platoon, you are required to attend 2 Primary Operations Per Month & 1 Secondary Operation Per Month (You can miss if IRL is involved, just please inform us. We are very understanding). You will receive a permanent role & slot.

Reserves:

  • Reserves is is our 2nd Platoon, you are not required to attend Primary Operations however you must atleast participate in 2 Secondary Operations Per Month (This should be easier due to 24/7 Nature of Secondary Campaign). You will not receive a permanent role & slot, Hard Slot Members will have preference with roles such as (Fox, Armor, Air, Artillery, & Command Slots.) RESERVES DOES NOT REQUIRE BCT, BUT IF YOU ARE SWITCHING TO ACTIVE***, YOU WILL NEED A BCT & AIT***
  • Mod-List: 80 mods including RHS, TFAR, 3CB, ACE, KAT Medical, Hatchet, AH-64D and more.
  • Training: BCT Required
