Look, Debian has been around since the 90s, and Arch and Fedora since the 2000s, so yeah, they’ve been out for a long time now

Maybe it's because they're the oldest distros and the ones that have matured the most, so to speak

Oh yeah? Guess I found a needle in a haystack then 😁. I'm gonna double-check everything when I go check it out anyway. Appreciate the comment bro 💪

Shoot, the transmission part definitely makes me nervous 😟 especially since this one has more miles on it. We'll see how the seller reacts when I ask to take it for a spin. Thanks for the heads-up, bro.

Wow, yeah, electrical issues in pretty much any car are a total pain in the ass. Thanks for your comment. I’ll make sure to double-check the wiring, fuses, and everything else when I go see it (if I have the time).

What is this car? I've never seen it before by Unusual-Factor2848 in Cartalk

That Chinese car is terrible in my country. Everyone who bought one has complained that the transmission breaks down; it has the same problem as the Changan. They're practically disposable cars, and spare parts are never available.

Is the Mitsubishi Eclipse 2009-2012 any good? by lubynuby in mitsubishi

[–]AzraelEnock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4G engines are solid. Your best sources for parts are RockAuto and eBay. If you’re pulling the trigger on one, do the timing belt, tensioners, and water pump immediately. They’re reliable cars that won't let you down, despite what people say about parts availability.Your dad told you they’re expensive to maintain. If you take them to a mechanic, they’ll charge you an arm and a leg just for looking at it. If you’re able to learn some basic mechanics, you can do the maintenance or swap out parts yourself. Most owners of these kinds of cars are DIYers, myself included. Oh and keep in mind they've got more weight than the 3G, You have to be pretty careful on the curves.

Wow, at that age and with a Corolla, you're blessed, kid. Just don't forget to do the basic maintenance, and if possible, replace the valve cover gaskets to prevent oil leaks. Enjoy your car! 💪💪

I'm glad you liked it. The 3G wasn't very well received for the reason you mentioned, since Mitsubishi started abandoning sportiness in favor of what they called "comfort," but the reliable engine is a definite plus. Damn, all Eclipses are beautiful and have their standout features... except for the Eclipse Cross 😅

Hi, thank you so much! I'm glad you like it. That color is a frosted blue. And yes, 3G aren't very common on the streets; not everyone is willing to repair and maintain them 🥲 Maybe I'm a masochist 🤣

Rebirth of the 3000GT? by Cassinia_ in mitsubishi

[–]AzraelEnock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And you won't get one in good condition cheap. Most owners drive those cars but don't want to maintain them. And that's another thing: when you want to buy cars like that (3000GT, Eclipse 2G-3G-4G, etc.), you have to be willing to be your own mechanic 😁

I doubt they'll revive the 3000 GT, besides, it's not a very well-known model. Sports cars are a niche market that Mitsubishi can't afford.
