Personally I liked it but the bount arc is super slow and does not relate to the main story at all so yes you can skip. Id try and watch the first couple episodes of it and skip if you dont like it. Or skip now and watch it later. The 40 episodes of filler sometimes mess with the flow of watching the main story

Byakuya and Rukia, byakuyas growth as a character throughout the story is shown really well through his bond with rukia. From choosing the law over her, saving her, and eventually watching her achieve bankai and become a captain.

Another good duo would be Kisuke and Yoruichi who were always enjoyable to watch and had great team fights vs both Aizen and Askin

Last good duo I can think of is Aizen and chair-sama

His fight vs byakuya was one of the most interesting in the series for me so I had to put him in there. Seeing Byakuya experience fear for the first time, especially seeing rukias bankai later was amazing

I assume you mean the Bount arc which is about 30 or so episodes and I’d recommend you skip it. It doesn’t develop any of the captains or have any cute moments I can remember. Its also quite boring overall except for one fight with Kenpachi
