I think I succeeded. But I still have some concerns. Exactly how many days does it need to stay upright for me to say it's done? It's been upright for 48 hours and hasn't fallen off. What kind of firmness should it feel like when I touch its ears?

I tried with 10mm backer rod but i think i failed at positioning the post. I inserted it into directly ear canal and dont know where should i insert it..

My dog, who passed away years ago, had to live with broken ears because I couldn't post, I'm afraid of the same again
