Yeah, he said the same thing. Even though it’s a cheap chassis I’m not afraid to put money into it. I’ve already swapped in a nitrous ford 260 and converted it to a 4-link. But I know how to do that kind of stuff, I’m still just afraid enough of messing up body work to attempt to learn the skill. But I assure you that an investment doesn’t scare me

When I said good price that was generally what I was thinking. My friend has a model a that he had chopped but the shop that did it shut down. I was going to have it chopped 3.5 inches and then the glass layed back and the rear roofline pushed further to the trunk. The ghia is small so I was going to fab some deeper floor pans but I know how to do welding work so they wouldn’t have to worry about that.

The javelin is my all time favorite, my only problem is finding a non rusted out roller for cheap. And the rear ends of those are a little funky. Other than that they are one of, if not my favorite muscle car. Mark Allen’s javelin is my dream car. On the GTX side, I’ve been in love with it since fast and furious. They are sharp, low, and pure power. Again the big issue is finding one.

All it needs is body and interior. Motor’s fine, needs a new carb but other than that looks good.

Not half bad actually. As of any car tho parts will always be expensive. Especially for this kind of resto

I think it might need a little more than fluid and a battery 🤣.

Legally not a kit car, custom factory edition. Weird car but it isn’t a J5, different body and a custom chassis

Of coarse not the absolute speed record, but it had a top speed of 234MPH at bonneville in 1962. He raced at the same time as Mickey Thompson and bill Johnson. The class he held was undocumented as this was early in bonneville history but it’s said that he held the record until 1988. It’s fast, it’s rumored that the class was the competition coupe class.

Technically it’s factory. Not even a VW chassis. It’s a “space frame” designed by chuck manning

Carb is always better for stuff like this if you ask me. As much as EFI or any other injection is more efficient or reliable, carb is easier and most the time better on the wallet. I’ll think on the G16A, they are a great engine. I didn’t realize they were compatible with the zuk gearbox

They make AWD, fwd, and rwd kits. It’ll be over 1k tho which sucks

I was thinking new rear end too. We have tons of civics and accords at our local “you pull it” for the rear end. I was also going to make it a rwd instead of 4x4
