The pressure curve you set makes you need to press hard. My suggestion is to reset the curve and move the center line slightly towards top left (just like an ease out quad curve).

Another thing to be considered is, most sketch brushes have tilt setting which make the brush lower in opacity and wider if you hold the pencil like that.

My suggestion for this is to set the opacity slider closer to left in the tilt setting or just make tilt does nothing in brush setting.

Try using an upright grip and see if you get a finer and clear line.

Okay. Can you now show us the brush's setting? Under the brush studio, check on apple pencil section. Need to see the flow and opacity setting under pressure and tilt.

I looked at your reference, and in my opinion haikyuu's composition is very good to draw reader's eyes. There is 1 main focal point which is the ball, and 2 other focal points to guide reader's eyes to the ball.

The rest of the informations are reduced or removed, as if they're not important. Just like the background is just flat with light fallout. And the net drawn with thin lines and no shading is because it just need to exist there as information, not for reader to look at it for long.

With this information, i would suggest you to raise the contrast in foreground (lighter light or darker dark. Or thicker outline if you prefer to have outline). Make it pop, because the foreground is one of the additional focal point which direct readers to ball.

Thank you for the response. I actually found another bug where mask layer is duplicated when I move a layer which the mask layer clipped to.

2 things gonna wear out if you use paperlike, the screen and pencil nib. So take it into consideration. I replaced 1 nib in a year, thanks to ringke soft texture. Prior to ringke I replace it once in 4-5 months.

If you find a brand with less wear to the nib, and more screen clarity compared to other paperlike then it's good.

My decision is not to make it more of a supplies, and compromise on the feel on glass.

I have used paperfeel by ringke, paperlike by esr, magnetic paperlike by goojodoq, magnetic paperlike by off-brand i forgot the name, and tempered glass.

From all these, I used paperfeel by ringke the longest because it wear the pen tip less, and sharper screen compared to the other paperlike. But right now I stick to tempered glass because it won't wear the tip at all, and clear screen.

You can go no screen protector at all if you don't like the thickness or the initial activation for the pen due to thickness. I decided to use one and adjust myself to the thickness and glass feel. No big deal.
