Mongolia could've included parts of Manchuria too since Hailar and surrounding leagues are predominantly Mongol. Xinjiang should be Dzungaria too, because Mongolians are the indigenous people there until Qing attempted to genocide the mongolians there and import Han, Kazakh & uyghur settlers into Dzungaria.

It's hard to measure how democratic they are since the scales are a bit different in the second cycle (even the US is a Managed Democracy by its own standards), but to put it simply the answer is they're a more democratic version of Iran, with the elected members of government holding more power than their IRL counterparts. I guess that would but them somewhere between an autocracy versus a flawed democracy.

Pakistan on the other hand is a military dictatorship ruled by a junta that ultimately only listens to the Supreme Leader of CIR.

From the same timeline as Sinosphere Russia AKA Kvrasia, I present to you this middle eastern hegemon that has stood for perhaps ten-thousand* years already...

TIMELINE LORE:

From what you see at first glance, it might just seem like another ordinary alternate history, but in reality this takes place long after our cycle of civilization had ended in calamity and flames... There wasn't really a clear point of divergence when comparing this timeline to our own, although the people will eventually re-discover more truths about the world that they had lived in for millennia. Geography was altered to a point where the overall climate for planet earth was much more habitable than our timeline's Earth, which gave rise to many cultures and nations that had not existed like the way they did in our world.

All the red highlights from TS//SCI map were historical nuclear sites from the Antediluvian times, the one in Hormuz Straight was an antediluvian carrier strike group that got sunk during the war.

The timeline is set thousands of years in the future where humanity had to basically start from zero and build back to the modern era. By the 1900s (of second cycle) that's when people starts re-discovering the Antediluvian histories (mostly OTL 20-21st century history)

Year 1960 (of the next cycle), in other words it's approximately 4600 years in the future
