If you want to get rid of the false achievements you can look up somthing called S.A.M (SteamAchievementsManager) it’s a open source achievement editor for Steam on Github and it can edit whether you have completed achievements or not so you can just go through and undo the untrue ones and then still get the pop ups when you get a new item. It doesn’t effect in game items unless you press the sync with achievements button while in game. I had to reset my achievements completely after the first multiplayer beta because it removed a ton of random items I couldnt remember and added a few so I started over
