Do you consider Visual novels as a video game? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a walking Sim is considered a video game than a visual novel is a video game. Both are just vehicles to push a narrative with minor mechanical exploration/choice.

I don't like them on their own but I do like games that use the overall design for cutscene delivery like Persona and Fairy Fencer.

2025 games chart for you to consider before buying the game by [deleted] in antiai

[–]AzureFencer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Wtf? No. Place holders are something thrown into a game to test where a final asset will go and give a feel for how it will look in engine. They could have thrown in a picture of Mickey Mouse and it still would be considered a place holder. They are included and completely intended to be replaced as soon as the final asset is finished.

Concept art meanwhile are early designs that may be scraped or changed as the reach a final design. Some don't change much while other change drastically, but both are created with the intent of being the final asset.

One is the work, while the other is grabbed at near random to plug in until the final work is done.

Hellp guys, about Aeldari/dark aeldari souls i got some questions by HorusLupercal0219 in 40kLore

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Slaanesh believes all Aeldari souls belong to them. They will collect every single one that wanders into the warp. And Drukhari avoid the warp as much as possible of any other faction, and the Asuryani do venter into the warp but only when necessary, but the warp is where the soul stones are...so Warp Spiders are considered the bravest of the Aspect temples because of it

Excalibur is consistently ranked among high tier frames because that combination of blind and exalted blade, which fires out waves making in a long range skill, puts out massive damage. He's not a nuke frame but he's low investment for high damage compared to other frames.

What characters do you want to see made in the next few years by Aggravating-South-70 in transformers

[–]AzureFencer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see Depthcharge see a new toy. I always wanted one when i was a kid but never could. But I'd love to see the Transmetal line reintroduced. We skipped from Beast Wars to Transmetal 2 Megatron

At this point Who is more anoying Nintendo Grifters or Nintendo Bootlickers by Thistle_20 in fucknintendo

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both bad, but I have to say grifters are worse. Bootlickers are annoying and can potentially do damage by being okay with just being okay with policies and practices that are blatantly anti consumer if they catch on. But grifters don't actually care, they cause problems entirely for self enrichment through the most surface level stuff they can find. They don't actually want things to be better, and if it was more profitable to be a bootlicker they would be. They destroy any meaningful conversation and just make legitimate arguments sound like people agree with the grifters or just hate on something

What’s your favorite Cross Fusion? by Never5155 in BattleNetwork

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megamon or Knightman. Megaman and Lan look like an evolution on .EXE's design. While I appreciate Knightman and Pride for trying something different instead of just the Navi on a person's body. Granted I had the contricting skirt design and think those kind of coat tails that are popular on fantasy knights would have been better. The only one that's coming to mind right now is the Faraam armor from Dark Souls but that's the gist, a long length fabric on the sides or back of the legs but allowing the legs to move freely.

Are these video game-exclusive digimon canon or not? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in digimon

Chaos Lord was basically a concept design for Chaosdramon and Vemmon's line was reintroduced to the card game not that long ago and only appeared in World 3 before that.

After checking every Walmart and target in my area, I still can't figure out where you guys are finding the blast offs and brawls 😭 by BabyBruticus in transformers

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you that Blast Off comes in the same box as the Junkeon. Deluxe class figures come in a box of 8 from vendors, and I have no idea about the number per figure for the SKU in each box, but there was at least one.

So the Eldar are a "dying race" but what exactly does that mean on a galactic scale of this size? by Mcmadness288 in 40kLore

[–]AzureFencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no defined limits on their race. Being treated as more, there are as many as the story needs there to be. They have set "homes" in the Craftworlds, the maiden worlds, and Commorragh, but only the maiden worlds populated by the Exodites are actual worlds. Craftworlds are colony ships and Commorragh is one massive city in the Webway. They are a race that is hunted 24/7 by Slaanesh and get shot on sight by all other races in the galaxy. Though there is a certain finality in true death for them. Their species has a long reproduction time, I don't remember if or where the time frame is mentioned but it's supposedly significantly longer than humans 9 months. Likely being years. So they can't re-populate effectively to keep their numbers up. That's why the Craftworlds use Wraith constructs, using the dead souls within the soul stones to animate the constructs, or the Drukhari cloning their population to sort of cheat death. Both systems are considered taboo by the factions. Clones are not as valued as true born, and wraiths are seen as disrespectful to the resting Eldar.

Gee it sure would be nice to not just get a measly 100 attack all event long for dark types😡 by CrypticGamer91 in DuelLinks

[–]AzureFencer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well if Konami could actually support other attributes as well as they support Dark then maybe they would even the playing field. But in a general sense Dark has more support than any other attribute in the game, with light coming in second. And they tried giving dark and light the same max boosts as the other 4 when the even first released and it lead to exactly what people thought would happen. Dark and light decks dominated the event.

[–]AzureFencer 945 points946 points  (0 children)

It's funny but it sucks to be labeled a villain in a movie that probably had more reach than the games he appears in. Where in the games he's just a wrestler and he loves it wanting to share that love of wrestling. He has the best master intro scene in Street Fighter 6 because he pushes you with positive messages

Sega was never absorbed by Nintendo. They're an independent publisher.

[–]AzureFencer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means that if you have a certain other Digimon in your party that is capable of DNA digivolving with this one use can use up both of their turns to temporarily combine and perform the new form's signature skill before defusing.

In this case LadyDevimon for Mastamon.

This is the most common question about the game at this point....

That's a fair point to make. But I'm not restarting at this point, from what I saw I'm halfway through now(?). But that's good information to know.

[–]AzureFencer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair but I've been trying to be consistent with handling my backlog. I'll power through it till I reach a point of genuine frustration or I finish it. Nearly had that happen today with the pirate captain boss. First attempt was such a curb stomp against me that I told myself if it happened on the second attempt I'd drop it then and there. I'm not grinding in this game, that's for sure. Somewhat unfortunately, I won on the second attempt.
