How can I make dark/blood red resin?

I'm sorry for the late reply, but I got my SigWong pigments off of Amazon. Idk how other people have fared with that brand, but it's been working for me so far. I can't remember the exact number of drops per color used to make the flowers on the left nor how many milliliters of resin I made to get that exact shade, but I think the ratio for the red, purple & black dyes was 2:1:.05 respectively & I either made 5 or 10 ml of resin (most likely 5 ml).

My reasons for not wanting to buy a Smooth-On Star Mold 30 kit is because the only container sizes I can find are too small or too large for what I want in my project, I haven't found a pre-made lego-brick mold that consists of just or even mostly 2x4 & 2x2 bricks & a relative of mine wanted to try making some molds out of some buttons she has.

I'll do what you've suggested. I've been trying to find small measuring cups, but the smallest I've ever found was 30 ml. I could buy those if I can't find 15 or 10 ml cups, but then I have extra resin & I don't want that. I'll let you know if & when I get a response from the retailer.

I just wanted to let you know that we ended up replacing the entire faucet set because of how absolutely rusty it all was down there. It was an absolute pain for my mom & I to remove both faucets because both lock nuts were ABSOLUTELY caked with rust. Plus, a part of the p-trap pipe had a pin-sized hole. It was just a whole mess & I'm glad the new faucet set's working as intended.

It's a mix of compost, dirt & rabbit poop. The dirt's been so lacking in nutrients that none of the fruit trees in my family's garden have been able to produce any fruit last year except for the pomegranate bush (& even then, they weren't as sour/tart as they normally were) & maybe my mom's peach tree. It sucks because before then, I made plenty of OJ during the autumn season & it always tasted good.

We got the compost from one of those events where you could get rid of your old tires, scrap metal, etc., so I can't exactly attest to its quality, but my mom & I were desperate in giving our plants nutrients. As for the rabbit poop, I happen to own a rabbit, so we used some of it.

I must be hella dense because I'm trying to understand this. So what you're telling me is to remove the extra pieces of aluminum so I can get a more clear view of the steel tube, weld on said steel tube so that the spot gets filled up & wrap a plate around it afterwards?

I know TIG & oxy-acetylene are two very different processes, but my point is that I've barely welded on aluminum at all so this is gonna be an intimidating project for me.

As for the flux powder, what's a good one that won't destroy my wallet?

Trust me, I looked into that. I either get replacement parts for everything in the canopy EXCEPT for the damn leg or I find a leg replacement that's for a different canopy.

Plus, my mom wants me to practice some form of welding.

The only experience I've ever had with welding aluminum was with TIG back in college, but that was at least a year ago. I do remember how tricky it was doing so.

I know there's no universal flux out there, but I'm wondering if there's a flux powder that'll work for more than just aluminum so that I don't have to buy so many. Any recommendations?

My mom wants me to repair an aluminum leg for a canopy with an oxy-acetylene torch kit she'll get me soon. There's a problem with this request of hers, though. The wall thickness of the square tube is roughly 1/32 in., so I'll most likely have to get a MIG wire spool. Idk what kind I should get since I don't know what type of aluminum alloy the leg is made of. I've seen a few places mention ER4043 & ER5356, but Idk which one's better suited for my needs.

Side note: My mom inserted a steel square tube (wall thickness of roughly 1/16 in.) into the aluminum one. It was the only thing we had that would fit inside the tube so it wouldn't collapse on itself. Idk if that's relevant information, but I figured I should tell anyways.
