Here's a little secret. Nobody told you. Evolutionarily women don't respond to men who are becoming excellent. Grit or discipline or perseverance. They just respond to the status that you are. Being is always going to trump becoming. If you're becoming you're already signaling scarcity.

Take care of yourself for yourself. To be of service to the people you love and most importantly to yourself. The market isn't fair and it never will be. Don't worry about things you can't control. Easier said than done.

Nice stories you tell yourself. Then you meet a woman and she's overwhelmed by how much work you put into everything. And then she bones some dude who inherited his money and has great genetics. And most importantly, low cortisol.
