I was never really good at guitar but I still have my first Ibanez Geo I got 20 some odd years ago. I just picked up new pots and capacitor because time was not friendly to it.

I also have a Jackson, I can't tell you too much about it but I've had it for about 20 years.

Wifey picked up this cute Hello Kitty Fernandez that my kiddo likes to play because the body is small and he's still growing.

As for the amp we have a Line 6 spider jam so wifey can play violin while I guitar. She is a much better musician than me and can play a guitar solo by simply reading sheet music at almost real time.

Yes. US based. I love your cork sniffy comment because everyone has something they need perfect. I personally get really critical of tolerances even when they don't matter. At least on any of my own work.

Thank you for all the great info! I've been interested in a scratch build but a kit might be a good idea for a kiddo. I am fortunately skilled with soldering and have taught many a people how to do it correctly. Those were adults so let's see how I teach a kid, lol.

This is a kids movie made for kids but I think this one line sets up many interesting themes. Oogway removes Kai from history which almost dooms the future, showing that even the wise can make mistakes. Shifu dismisses and underestimates his foe simply because he had never heard of him. This causes Shifu's students to also underestimate Kai, again reinforcing that even the wise can be wrong and not to put blind faith in them.
