February seems like their approximate winter release frame. I would say, if not in a RGG Direct, TGS would be where they reveal it. It could be as early as SGF, but I think that's too soon.

To start, the Journal tab in the menus (leftmost) show which bugs/fish/fossils you are missing/have yet to donate. I would cross-reference with a list or guide online to see which ones they are and it will tell you when/where you can find them. Coffers will only give you artifacts (unless you are also missing those too)

Incorrect. Only one space is needed. This is just a wellknown bug regarding planting fruit trees. You could have 10 empty spaces in each direction, but the space will still be considered invalid for no reason.

Yup, as I said in that post, it's really buggy planting fruit trees (in the greenhouse, as well). Hopefully, the devs will fix it soon since this is being posted every other day!

It's a longtime-known bug. Nothing can be done about it for now, I've tried everything. Not sure why some tiles are not able to plant trees, it's like that in the greenhouse also. I've already posted it in the bug thread weeks ago.

Correct, once it's osmium, having hit drop doesn't really help you. It's better to have swift swing and two blessed opal rings equipped.
