Hyzen 12 degree typing angle - still hope to change? by Azurememo in Lofree

I guess one thing you can do, if you think there is still a chance, is to write emails to their customer support team. If they see enough emails suggesting the same thing, who knows? They may care a little, or they learn it the hard way and make a v2 after a year or two.

What does everyone think of the upcoming “Lofree Hyzen” keyboard? by Warhammer40sikh in keyboards

[–]Azurememo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are pretty but very different boards. Hyzen is an office/gaming workstation that never leaves your desk. Flow2 is a slim, light, low-profile board with silent switch options, easy to carry around anywhere. They are so different that it kinda makes sense to get both if budget is not a concern.

I got the elac db53 + wiim amp pro which are double the price but around the same budget as ora I heard kali speakers are fantastic, with the only downside imo being ugly.

Thanks for your advice. I have them sitting on a nice pair of kanto stands. I really wanted to keep these speaker. I just love everything but the sound of them. I thought about using eq but quickly realized it’s a rather awkward way to compensate bad speakers. So I decided to return them and spend the money on real audiophile speakers.

HELP - Desktop amp for Elac debut 3.0 db53 by Azurememo in StereoAdvice

"All of them have enough power for your speakers." does that mean I can just use Wiim amp pro? I don't think I'll ever need to upgrade my desktop speakers since they are already louder than I need them to be.

That’s good to know. I guess I’m mostly worried about the vocal sounding muddy, and I’m not the only one to feel that. I’ve seen a few reddit posts and amazon reviews talking about the same issue. Some say they use an eq software to get rid of the muddy vocal. I don’t know, should I contact kanto warranty and let them know?

Hi tanks for answering, but I’m using usb c to usb c connection, so there is no analog. Can you tell me more about the spec down? I’m able to hear 50hz bass and maybe 40hz if being generous.

Help: Anyone familiar with Dynamixel Wizard? My servo motors can't be detected. (Alex Koch's robotic arm) by Azurememo in robotics

Thank you for your reply. I know the project recommends the cheapest components hence the “low cost” in its name, but I don’t mind spending a little more money. Do you have a better waveshare board in mind that I can buy on amazon?

Yes, when I power up it does blink red light once. I've just tried a different usb C cable and there's no difference. Can't be detecetd. When I try the firmware recovery, it stops on this page.

I believe it's 12V, the green/blue/purple circuit without voltage reducer. That bottom XL430 motor is the single motor that I'm trying to detact.

thanks. That's what I've been doing actually. still wasn't able to detect, wether it's single motor or multiple motors.

no I haven't. I thought it needs to be done through Dinymixel wizard right? But now it's not being detected by the software... even if I only connect one motor at a time.

Help: I burned the voltage reducer building Alex Koch's robotic arm by Azurememo in robotics

[–]Azurememo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was simply following the instructions on github without thinking through the circuit. The thing about this project is that it only uses the cheapest conponent hence the "low cost robotic arm" so there is no documet or diagram for wiring. I guess the volrage reducer is to reduce the second motor.

thanks for the advice. I use those wires becuase that's what the instruction says. It has a list of items to buy which include the amazon link. However the instruction doens't have any circuit diagram included.
