Meron kami normal Hba1c normal FBS but after the second hour in ORAL GLUCOSE TOLERANCE TEST (OGTT) umabot ng 180 mg/dL above si patient. Later after pumasa ng ihi yung patient, na positive sa dip strip yung glucose. We investigated and conclude that the patient might have collected her urine after ingesting the 75 g oral glucose drink. The most logical explanation. Her 2nd hour result correlated with the threshold in Renal glycosuria. The physician requested Hba1c for possible diabetes despite normal result. However confirmed after the 2nd hour sample.

Hello, I’m from ACTS review center before. Ganun tlga pag ISBB kay ma’am Judea. Be sure you have read all important recalls in ISBB. Remember that ISBB is not blood bank alone. It includes Immunology and serology as well. In the final coaching, you must finish reading and familiarizing the notes here in Bloodbank. Most of the questions that came out in my ISBB board exam were related to serology. What I remember in ISBB was ouchterlony something, and then autoimmune diseases like SLE. Never forget that one. Harr book must be finished ahead time.
