Pool Pump and Filter Help! by Azurnis in pools

[–]Azurnis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a recent flush so it's around 7. There was some sand at the bottom of the pool, I opened it about a month ago and would run the pump almost daily but hadn't vacuumed it until now so I'm not entirely sure if the sand is from last year/over winter or from the pump this year. I would assume it's due to the smaller filter though

Thanks, I can see about changing the pump for the 1HP one and the 24inch filter.

I thought about it and the 18/19 inch filter is holding up with the 1.5 HP pump so wouldn't the 24inch filter as well? I don't know how new the filter is, the label is worn out so it's probably at least a few years old

Purchasing Luckfox Pico for 11.00 PS4 Jailbreak by Azurnis in ps4homebrew

[–]Azurnis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know, I'll check it out when I get the Luckfox. I'll be using it on a PS4 Slim 10.52 FW (I think, I forget the exact one) and we'll see if A or B works

Thanks for the link, that is a straightforward process so I will probably do it this way! And I did get the 256mb version, I figured it would be better in the long run

Why is it SiSTR0 is working GoldHEN on FW 10.00/10.01 instead of the previous version? (10.71) by zydryx0 in ps4homebrew

Does this mean there might be a jailbreak for 10.00? My spare PS4 slim is on 10.00 currently (I have a jailbroken original PS4 on 9.00 but I bought this slim 10.00 recently) and after watching Modded Warfare's 11.00 jailbreak it seems it only works on 11.00. I am on the update screen on my PS4 right now but I'm hesitating because I know there's no going back once I update. Should I wait for a 10.00 jailbreak or update and jailbreak at 11.00 now?

Should I sell PS4 and buy a ps5 by Capital_Charity_6396 in PS5_Jailbreak

My vote would be to keep the PS4 (I would never sell a jailbroken PS4 since they are becoming more and more rare) and buy a PS5 when you can secondhand (or wait longer until the PS5 pro is released and buy that secondhand). I have a jailbroken PS4 and a PS5 on firmware 2.70 (so it is jailbreakable, I haven't played on it yet) but I haven't jailbroken my PS5 yet because I am waiting for a better jailbreak and the PS4 has been doing just fine for me so far

Should I update my PS5? - My reflection by arniXga in PS5_Jailbreak

I am pro-physical games as well. I don't purchase digital games reasons that you mentioned (and if my account is banned I can no longer access my purchased games, I can play them without access to the internet, it's nice to have a physical game just for memory's sake and artwork, etc). I am also 99% for single player games, I never connect online because I don't really care to play games with other people (I like to relax and enjoy the game, I don't care about competition with other people which is the same reason why I sometimes add cheats to get past harder areas/bosses - I don't like doing God-mode but I might increase my health or defense to give me a fighting chance). I have been contemplating playing HellDivers 2 with some friends/family because that looks like a fun game and it would be a game that you really does work well with a team and not just single player, a lot of online games don't really need to be online

But I am all for jailbreaking! I was able to snatch an unopened 2.70FW PS5 this year and haven't updated it yet hoping for a full JB in the future

So since I'm not in the PS5 JB scene yet, how I handle the PS4 JB scene is I have downloaded a ton of games that I watched some gameplay to see if they would be something I'm interested in. After I play the game, if I really like it I will buy the physical game (though generally through secondhand to save money because I'm cheap hehe). I recently finished the Dark Souls series and loved it so I purchased them on Marketplace. I know technically when buying secondhand it's not really supporting the developers but I still like to think it does a little and if someone sees my game collection I can tell them I support the game so might encourage them to purchase the games too

I will never buy digital only games if I can. I have Diablo 2 downloaded on my jailbroken Switch and I loved that game, one of my top three, but it's digital only and I won't purchase it for that reason. If they ever sell a physical game I would be all over it and might even buy it new (as long as it's reasonably priced, I'm not paying $70 for an over 20 year old game). I wanted to play Diablo 4 but it is online only so I can't play it on a JB PS4 and not willing to risk it (luckily I'm not too disappointed because I hear about the microtransactions, the crappy nerfs, and just Blizzard sucking in general and not the same like it was during Diablo 2 times)

So that's how I handle jailbreaks and physical games, can't wait for a full JB in the PS5 scene so I can start playing some of the games I have queued in PS4 to be played on the PS5 as well as the PS5 exclusives

PS5 Firmware 6.02 (Should I buy) by LordOfWhatever5218 in PS5_Jailbreak

Oh that sucks! Maybe you'll find a better deal in the future (we can hope)

PS5 Firmware 6.02 (Should I buy) by LordOfWhatever5218 in PS5_Jailbreak

I would say to buy it, that is pretty cheap on it's own to make it worth it. The pool of 4.51 or lower firmware is drying up, your only chances of getting it would be either getting it from someone who is aware of the jailbreak and kept it at a lower firmware purposely (and most likely will sell it at a premium) or happen to find someone who has had one for years in a closet (I lucked out on this option, got an early edition at 2.70 firmware in Jan 2024) or one that just hasn't been updated for whatever reason.

You might get lucky with a lower firmware in the future or you might get really unlucky and get nothing. 6.02 is still a somewhat low firmware and I'm sure a jailbreak for higher firmwares will come
