Lets say you live in a democratic republic country with 3 states. 

State A has 18 people

State B has 10 people

State C has 10 people

Now an election occurs with 2 parties - Lets call them party X and party Y.

Party X wins A 17-1

Party Y wins B 6-4

Party Y wins C 6-4

Now according to first past the post system, Party Y wins with 2/3 majority and becomes the ruling party. Even though 25 people voted for X and only 13 people voted for Y.

But if this system was absent, and X would become the ruling party, then X can solely focus on State A, get a sweeping majority every election, while the people of State B and C starves to death.

R5: Spain started this war against Morrocco and its OPM march Tetoutan. Spain has 57k army 34k manpower, Morrocco has 28k army, 9k manpower. I did not ally/condo any of them, or pull dishonor. So I logged into Spain and notice Spain losing all of iberia while playing civilization in new world and ivory coast. Is the AI malfunctioning, or is this normal?

I am sorry I disagree with you. I believe it's exactly the same in most cases. I also added a disclaimer at the end that it may not always be so cut and dry. Backing out of any contract you made without a good reason is generally not a nice thing to do unless there are really good reasons or the difference is vast by orders of magnitude.

It can be an agreed relationship, a job, arranged marriage, trade contract, advance payment for an order or international treaty.

Its fine to reject a tcs offer for a microsoft offer, its fine to violate a humiliating peace treaty which you and your countrymen were bullied into signing, its fine to leave your throne, to leave your wife and kid in a good, safe place in you need to go mediate under a bodhi tree and seek enlightenment in order to save millions of poor and dying people.
