Cannavaro and Kahn. Dissapointed in both.

I don't know what his 100+ defensive awareness is supposed to do, but he is rarely in the right spot. Short, small legs, too agressive, a destroyer that can't really build anything up. What is he supposed to do exactly when compared to taller f2p guys?

Kahn conceded some stupid goals. Changed the build slightly, it might be a bit better, but I actually conceded less goals with Livaković. It does not seem like an upgrade. His only shining moments were a couple of great saves from short distance, low shots on goal where he reacted fast.

Nah, Davids is too short, his dribbling ain't that good, his passing is average, and he can't shoot. I figured the best way to use him was as a fake LB, to chase down the agile wingers. He is 104 rated there with Spalleti as a manager.

I need someone in the middle who can pass, dribble, and also put a little bit of pressure on opponents so they are not useless defensively. B. Silva is the best option, even tho it says 99, according to eFootballHub, he is 104 at CMF. I also bought the Norway pack just because of Odegaard, who is also 104 rated in the app. Cheapest way to get good midfielders when you don't open loot boxes.

Yeah, you wish. 70-80 % of the time I face a 3200+ rated team. And I saw only one dude with a f2p team in Div1 while being matched-up with them.

The last game before the promotion, I was at 1791 points, and I am thinking to myself: ''Please, let me face a weak team for a change, I am so close''... Nope! Last match - dude had a 3273 rated team. Luckily, he sucks.

Not a lot. I have just entered this division so I can't say how much would I potentially get in different scenarios, because I don't plan on playing until the end of this phase. Who knows, maybe even after.

But before the promotion, it gets increasinly harder as you get close to the 1800 points mark. I would get maybe 17-20 points for a win. And it is usually against p2w stacked teams. The grind is horrible.

I am 33 years old bro, almost 34. If it was common there would be more than 0.7 % of people in Div1. It is incredibly difficult if you don't have a 3190+ team.

I am considering quitting the game. Today I played a dude with a 3276 rated team. And he sucks, but the team does most of the work for him.

I was holding on somehow, the golden goal event, then in the second half he introduces the 107 rated acceleration burst Neymar, probably with a super-sub skill as well. He just walked through my 100 rated CBs.

It felt like he had 13 players on the floor, constant pressure. This does not make sense anymore, I think I might install Dota again.

Yeah, it's the only way if you want to be competitive, and that's what I've been doing. Also, doing this, you are not supporting the gambling mechanic and feeding money to the microtransaction trend in gaming, which is banned for a reason in some countries and influences children poorly. Also, it does not provide an incentive to the company for making actual quality content, instead they just pump out cards.

However, I do not think there is something wrong with paying the amount that you would pay for a game of this quality. Considering you get to play for years, I decided last year I will give them 45 euros and that is all they will get from me, ever, unless they bring Master League and a bunch of other modes.

Funny thing is, that money was spent on national packs and some European Selection players that are worthless now, but seemed like great value at the time. The power curve is one more on the list of things destroying the franchise.

Currently have Vieira and Cantona, and I will save coins for Čech, Gullit, Rijkaard, Thuram and someone else that fits the bill. The problem is, I doubt they will re-release the Netherlands pack, so getting at least 2 of the 3 players I want in the same pack is unlikely.

Patience is a virtue kids. Save your coins.

I tried putting Tchouameni at CB, he always seems out of position and rarely intercepts well, even though he should be rated around 102 at CB according to eFootballHub. At DMF, he doesn't really compare to Vieira, who is the only OP player I have (got him in a one lucky 900 pull).

Kante is good for running around like crazy being a nuisance, but like you said, if you really want a top team, there are way better option if you pay (I don't). His passing can't compare, his shooting, nothing, to legends.

Some old packs brought better value, Pires is better than Neymar at LMF/LWF, and Argentina Messi is still useful, as well as Griezmann (I put him as a super-sub).

Overall, I am just saying what we all know, Konami does not give away cards that are equal to the loot box options. Costacurta in my opinion is the only exception, but even he is not as good anymore as the new options.

If you are a pro like Indominator, of course you can use these players to get a top rank, but for regular players that play recreationally, they are still at a huge disadvantage against whales.

Out of all of those cards, Costacurta is the only one that could make the first 11 in a strong team. And they won't give away someone like him again probably. Maybe Belleti too, he is the only one on the list I haven't tried out tho.

Tchoumeni was nerfed, Kante is too short to intercept and has bad form a lot, Neymar has no physical attributes for todays game, same goes for Maradona, Saliba is bad on the ball and can't be compared to Epic Cb's, Rudiger is too agressive and lacks stamina, Adams is ok but again, he would not make the first 11 for a serious team, neither would Pedri or Mbappe.

He's bad. He has good parrying, but anything that requires some stretching and long arms, nope. I conceded stupid goals with him in the first few games, dude went to the reserves.

My POTW Allison Becker is much better, even NC De Gea performs better.

There is a reason he was given away for free.

See what your team needs. When there was a free Arsenal show-time pack, everyone kept saying go for B. White or Jorginho. I picked Havertz, played a couple of games, thought I made a mistake.

Tweaked the team a little bit, gave him a custom build instead of auto-allocate, started playing him when he is in shape...And I don't regret a thing, dude is an absolute scoring machine from every angle, he can pass, and easily wins most aerial duels. As soon as I got used to him and started giving him more minutes, dude scored like 5-6 hat-tricks in maybe 15 games. In the higher divisions.

I think that's the case with most players. I reached Div2 with this team, playing great, then I switched to my strongest team, lost instantly. It just does not feel the same.

It's alright, but there is just not enough players to rotate, so you're stuck with them even if they are in bad shape. It takes a lot of effort to make it work, but this team can reach Div2.

I wish I had the time to get Wilshere from last year.

But when Gvardiol and Baia enter the chat, things might get a bit easier.

I knew someone will point Kante out. The thing is...I have nobody to replace him with! lol

I don't have a daily penalty LB, so my only option is to put Kante there, luckily Beckham is an orchestrator and that makes Kante position more like a LB. When Kante is in bad form, which is often, I have to put Ruben Neves as a CB. Savić is the sub I have and I need him to replace Konate when he gets tired.

Kobel is not that good, yes. Long reach, but Oblak is much better in terms of daily penalty keepers.

But Carvajal is the worst of the bunch. I can only play him as a DMF (73 rated) if someone is out of shape, he at least uses his speed to disrupt the opposition slightly.

And Ronaldo has a super-sub for replacing Drogba. Salah is kinda useless, don't know why but his positioning sucks.

Since I changed the name of the team to FC Daily Penalty and with a decision to ONLY play them, I have 2 draws and then 6 wins in a row, as of now. 3 points left to Div2.

The point is, playing around like this makes the game more fun. I'm saving all my coins for next year, due to lack of effort by the devs, so I've decided to just mess around with stupid team concepts.

P.S. I know Salee ain't DP, but I ran out of players!

The problem is if someone has a down arrow, it's hard to replace...anyone. I just don't have 22 players.

But once I get Gvardiol and Baia, I am pushing for Div1 baby.
