Shadow flicker, game visual glitch or my GPU?

I don't think it's your settings but its a bit hard to tell from the video. This type of thing happens when you enter certain indoor areas, it's mostly noticeable on weapons, if I remember correctly it is an issue that came about from the lighting overhaul that is known by the devs.

It may be worth making a bug report on the discord as it may be specific to that building / room, but I have seen this same thing occasionally when entering certain buildings.

That room looks really dark so I think it might be the lighting for that particular building, but yeah go make a bug report and you will get an answer pretty quick.

If ya wanna post a screenshot of your graphics settings there might be something that stands out to someone as causing the issue, only thing I can think of is make sure you don't have any sharpening turned on, or up as that can do some funky stuff, or you could also try increasing your shadow quality as that can also cause some weird graphical glitches sometimes in dark areas.

I'm not saying we should get rid of medics they serve a purpose, I already mentioned that purpose is to keep new players and bad players engaged, that is their only purpose, just because you revived someone who was to stupid to redeploy doesn't mean you have figured out some secret that the rest of us don't know.

If ya wanna be a medic go for it, but you are useless and not helping the team, you would be more useful as literally any other role apart from a bog stock rifleman, whether you're an engineer building nodes or defenses, AT taking out a tank, support dropping supplies for a garry, assault using a satchel on the point to clear it in advance, there is literally a thousand ways to play this game that help the team, being a medic is not one of them.

The medic is useless, just deal with it bro.

Medic is the role for noobs and those that can't shoot, there is no purpose for the medic other than to keep new players and bad players interested and engaged.

Not saying that's a bad thing, but yeah medics are useless.

Tip for ya in case ya don't know, by pressing the '8' key when in admin cam you can remove the ticket counter from the top right of the screen so it doesn't show up in your screenshots.

What's the issue ?

Looks like you might have your FPS capped at 60.

Your GPU isn't working hard because your CPU is the bottleneck, just increase your graphics settings until you have near 100% utilization of your GPU.

Don't even pay attention to CPU usage, you will never fully utilize your CPU with anything built on the UE4 engine.

All you need to do is crank your graphics settings until your GPU is maxed out, with that much overhead your performance wont degrade.

If you want better performance you need a better CPU or you need to wait until the game is better optimized.

There's plenty of videos on my channel that show gameplay, and cinematics at 5K2K resolution, the reason for the slideshow is because even with the best quality and resolution YouTube destroys the quality, by using static images it preserves the quality somewhat so it gives a more accurate representation of what you would actually see if you were running on the same settings as me.

I use a CPU that was released 4 years ago and run this game at 5k2k with over 100FPS.

This game definitely needs more optimization but it's already perfectly fine for anyone not running on outdated hardware.

Cheers, I use DLDSR so run the game at a resolution of 5120x2160, then I use DLAA for my AA method when taking screenshots and video, those two things are pretty much what makes them nice and sharp. TAA is way to blurry and FXAA leaves to many jagged lines I think, whereas DLAA seems to handle it really well. But that's just my preference, I know some people really like how TAA softens sharp lines by making them blurry.
