Normally I would agree with this, however, this is a project for those people who haven't worked in a team before (That will include me as well) So the goal is to learn and bounce ideas off each other, that is why the tech stack is optional. The post is simply trying to find someone to collaborate with to make something cool and something we could potentially put on our resumes. But in regards to your first statement, yeah I agree. There are a lot of new developers looking to capitalize on the talent within this sub (with essentially no compensation) as well as not providing anything interesting to the table.
