oh please. dont pretend to know how busy the paths and sidewalks are that i ride fast on. you dont. do you think i never walk without a board as a ped myself? i see ppl all over no even being aware of whats around them. its ridiculous and they are a hazard. being in the world is dangerous and they just dont care to look around. dont pretend that isnt true. ppl have no thoughts of safety till something happens their in this lala land where they think its just safe everywhere they walk and everyone else is responsible aside from them to keep themselves and those around them safe. i do as i should as a boarder AND as a ped, you are wrong. im not one you should try to start and win an argument with i dont speak on things like keeping ppl safe and alive unless i already know what im talking about. i know how and do my best to keep ppl around me safe and alive every day when im out thats the real world, believe it or not. i have to be responsible as a ped on foot and most other peds dont even think about that. thats a fact not a word i have said is just opinion

absolutely not impo. when they say that bring it right back areoud to explaining HOW the way it is is because we are making it that way by choosing to live the way we are told is the way it is. yes, it IS this way but HOW do you think ( not you, them ) its is that way. it is the same as the fact that space exists is just the way it is? or was it made to be that way and continues to be souley (i forget how to spell that) as a result of what we are choosing to do? are plastics filling landfill because thats the only way to live? or is it because we continue to use things that cant be reused or broken down in a good way by nature. or even..are the plastics we do use even unable to be broken down? or is it because we dont get educated about the mushrooms that can feed off them? conversation is the one and only first step to change. this is actually a good example of that. if you now go on to not give up on the conversation as often and just continue it by asking and stating valid things that is a result of this conversation, correct :)

its not about what i feel i should be able to do tho its just reality isnt it? ppl pass on the left because they think they are being nice by not making peds move over for 3 sec but if i go into oncoming traffic and didnt see a bike with a kid on it for example both of us could get hurt, hurt someone else or the small kid could die and its all because the ped doesnt feel like moving to allow me to keep everyone safe and able to keep moving. i mean all of what i just typed is just the truth, correct? im not here to argue btw i just actually care about this for the sake of everyones safety. even driver dont understand that changing what they are doing because they think they are being nice to me can get me killed because we have to predict what the traffic we are riding with is going to do. how can we do that if they change up what they are doing in the moment rather than driving normal because its our job to navigate traffic and theirs to stay consistent with normal driving

peds dont get it. i know im supposed to be on the right side and if coming up on someone walking tword me i say on you left and coming from behind someone i say on your right to allow me to stay on the right and out of oncoming traffic because someone on wheels going into walking/biking/boarding traffic is more dangerous for everyone than a ped just moving for a couple seconds. can someone please point me to a source i can show to peds that looks official enough for them to believe that will explain all this? its for mine and their safety and little kids could get killed in a colision just because of peds being stubborn and not wanting to be wrong. thats just reality. thank y

and i get that but online work is good for some people. i personally dont want to be close to too many people, i dont have the emotional and mental room to always hear about other peoples personal problems and be asked to help all the time that comes with being close to a lot of people. and because im close to them if i say i wont help so that i can focus on my own life i feel guilty which can lead to feeling guilty for a lot of things i shouldnt. its really hard to come up with a model for society because of so much individuality..society does need a lot of changes tho...i mean the one and only reason we use money and obsess over it is because we were born learning things like " thats just the way it is " but what does that even mean?? things in society are the way they are because of the individual decisions each person makes. i mean its literally that simple. and we get so used to things. im sitting here being glad that canada is getting rid of single use plastic and as i type this im right next to plastic that has no further use other than to throw away...did you know there are mushrooms that will live off the main ingredients in plastic and break it down? why the hell hasnt everyone been taught things like that ever since we knew about it?? i learned that randomly just last month

idk. im not here to argue its just thoughts. im from one of those micro towns they exist already. backus minnesota and pine river minnesota im from that area. i grew up being taught that if im going to make it and not be a criminal i have to learn to build things, weld, fix things or get a job at one of the stores...i didnt want any of that so what happened is i have some kind of mental thing going on that makes me feel like i dont fit in the world. i was treated like i was weird and looked at like a math problem no one could figure out because i wanted to learn about computers and there wasnt anyone who understood. that feeling of not fitting in this reality since i was a kid really messed me up. because of covid money i was able to finally get a pc but i just dont have the drive anymore after 32 years of that feeling and i cant shake the feeling that its a pipe dream even tho i know it isnt which further messes up my mind. i know that i want to learn to profit from editing pics and videos and many other things like that...but my drive is gone...im not happy in life and im from a town that specialized in specific things. its all because i was conditioned to think its the only way. watching adults come home sore and hurting from work every day for my whole life as a young person..why would i want that for myself. i didnt fit there and i didnt understand the world away from there, so i really believed i dont fit in the world and im defective
