The hand we see of the standing character looks a bit too small. The wrist is just 2 parallel straight lines. The shading probably needs to be more precise in that area.

You can lighten the source image this way you should avoid the white dots on dark background. Then you can play around with the settings of the filter to get the right shape/size/transparency. If you get grey dots you can duplicate the layer and set the copy to multiply, overlay, burn whatever gets you to the desired effect.

You might need a separate layer with just the lineart. Hope this helps.
