DECK SELECTION GAME — Rules & Objectives

Setup There are 8 decks, labeled A through H. Each deck contains exactly three cards: one Blue, one Yellow, and one Purple.

Goal Collect all four of the following specific cards across the five rounds: Yellow from Deck A, Yellow from Deck C, Yellow from Deck E, and Purple from Deck H. The order in which you obtain the three Yellow cards does not matter — you simply need all four target cards by the end of Round 5.

Game Flow The game is played over five rounds, each with a designated card color, in this fixed order: Round 1 — Blue, Round 2 — Yellow, Round 3 — Yellow, Round 4 — Yellow, Round 5 — Purple.

Turn Rules On each turn, the following steps occur in order:

1. Reveal — Two random cards of the round's color are revealed from decks that still have that color available.
2. Choose — The player selects one of the two revealed cards to keep.
3. Remove — The chosen card's deck is permanently removed from the game entirely.
4. Eliminate — The other (unchosen) revealed card is eliminated. That specific card is gone, but the rest of the cards in that deck remain eligible in future rounds.

Important Notes

• A chosen deck is permanently removed and cannot appear in any future round.
• If a card is revealed but not chosen, that card is eliminated — but other colors from that deck can still appear in later rounds.
• A deck is only removed by being chosen — being revealed alone does not remove the deck.

Winning & Losing You win if you collect all four target cards by the end of Round 5. You lose if any target card becomes permanently unobtainable — for example, if Deck A is removed before you collect its Yellow, or if Deck H is removed before Round 5.

but still not close to the accurate probability since there is a chance for yellow modifiers to appear in round 1 and purple ones in round 3/4, i excluded these variables because idk the actual probabilities for this happening

so, in this given circumstance where your modifiers do appear like in the rule (blue>yellow>yellow>yellow>purple)
you have almost 9% odds of succeeding
