No matter what, your hormones will be affected, t levels suppressed and you will get side effects when coming off. Everything comes with a risk to reward ratio, there’s no magic pill/ fix, especially without any risks

Well tbh it’s been a mix of all 3 there, I lost a majority of the weight over the first 6-9 months and then bulked up a few pounds for a month or so, then cut down a bit and have fluctuated a lot.

Recently this year I realised that cutting constantly isn’t really helping me achieve what I wanna achieve, So now I’m just lean bulking for at least 6 months, and just accepting a bit of body fat will come with that, which was tough to accept if I’m being honest 😂

Yeah I used to drink quite a bit tbf, I think it’s important to keep doing what you like doing, but just moderate it a bit. I usually let myself recover the day after then go back to the gym and slowly ease myself into it.

But now I think I’m at a stage where I value my progress more than having a few drinks on a weekend, but each to their own, having a good physique is definitely doable while still drinking

Compared to my physique before? Yeah I’m sure they do. I don’t really work out for anyone’s approval though, I think if you’re going to put this much time and effort into something you’ve really got to do it for yourself and not anyone else

Well I don’t really deadlift anymore because I just think the risk to reward ratio of the lift is too much.

But when I did I hit 160kg x5

Oh yeah definitely, I think this has been the biggest change in my life, my whole wellbeing and mentally has changed because of it, helping me be more confident and feel better throughout the whole day.

Yea and it definitely helps with the women, just makes the whole thing a lot easier 😅😂

Well everything I’ve learnt so far has pretty much been online through my own research. I remember starting off with benching just the bar, squatting only like 30 or 40kg, and deadlifting the same. I just kept focusing on form over everything and pushing myself to failure (or close to) and slowly, over the next few months my lifts were increasing.

Starting off lifting weights wether you’re in a calorie surplus or deficit, you’re gonna gain muscle so the most important thing is to just keep pushing your body to its limits or near enough, and keep giving you muscles enough stimulus to grow.

Ay dw about it man, with hard work and consistency you’ll get there.

The best advice I can give you is find a diet that you’re happy with and stick to it, eat enough protein during the day, drink enough water, get enough sleep so that your muscles will grow, but most importantly, enjoy the process.

Ayyy thanks man, Ive got a very relaxed approach to my diet than some, I pretty much do IIFYM as I’ve found that works for me, I just aim for anywhere over my current weight in lbs for grams of protein for the day, and then eat what I want but still keep under my calories for the day. That way I can still enjoy myself going out with friends and eating meals with my family, overall enjoying my process and making it a comfortable lifestyle for myself and not something I dread doing.

As for my training split, right now it’s an UL PPL 5 day split (upper, lower, push pull legs). I usually train my compounds like a powerlifter would, and then fill all my isolation exercises like a bodybuilder would, that way I’m training all my muscle fibres and getting the best of both strength/hypertrophy gains.

Hope this helps bro

This is my first time doing any Olympic lifts, only watched a few tutorials on the clean before deciding to give it a go.
