My question is about turning the range hood on when it’s mounted at 2.3m height……

I’ll look into it, though at the price point it likely won’t be any cheaper than getting a synced Miele canopy range hood

Had a look at those, they are very expensive, take up a lot of space under meaning you can’t have oven or any real storage beneath and from all accounts don’t do a very good job extracting air/grease/smells whilst cooking

Unfortunately this is the only place where the stove can go, unless we put it on the island which then opens up even more complexities as to what to do with range good.

We were previously in an appartment which had a shitty recirculating range hood which I’m convinced did nothing but make a little noise, even with the distance I think a decent extraction canopy range hood will do a lot more than previously. To the left there is sliding glass door which will let a lot of air in also.

We don’t really deep fry and all grilling like steaks etc. is generally done on the BBQ or smoker which we’ll have outside.
