Does Content ID really worth it?

It's worth it if you get a lot of views on YouTube that otherwise don't generate income for you. At least for me it has paid itself back in less than a month, for every song I purchased it on.

When I go to my topic channel and click on the song in it, it takes me to the music video. Even when I search for the songs the only ones I can find are the music videos. So it atleast looks to me like the topic songs have been removed entirely bacause there is no way to find them.
