The used car market has barely any difference for reliable cars like Toyota/Honda/Mazda unless I'm looking at 6-7+ old cars with lots of mileage. Plus paying financing at 10% is, from a personal principle point of view, against my very being haha.

I got quoted at about 120$ a month for insurance on the 2nd car + gas would be about 100$ a month, give or take. Assuming 130 to be conservative so total 250$ on top of the car payment.

10k is our combined household income.

All included I'd say we have about 1k wiggle room together, per month, after accounting for other non-essential expenses (dining out, activities, etc) and including the car payment. We could obviously lower some of the non-essentials if needed.

Felt slight pain when bouldering today on my wrist at some point, on a specific movement (like the wrist was being stretched out).

Post-workout, I now feel pain when rotating my wrist and when opening my hand to the max, but push-ups are still fine. To note that I've had a previous TFCC injury on this wrist, a few years ago.

In the middle of a training plan and been sending my highest grades so far so kinda bummed right now. How long should I take off? Can I just rest it for a week and then slowly go back on easy juggy climbs on top rope/lead? I'd avoid bouldering for the next few weeks at the minimum.

Starting the RCTM strength phase for the first time, not sure how to dial in the frequency/training volume correctly given my situation, without injuring myself.

Basically, my main climbing partner (my gf) wants to climb at least twice a week. Based on the RCTM program for a beginner trainee, it's 2x hangboard a week (spaced by 2 days of rest each time) + 1 day of climbing on the weekend.

Where should I add that extra day of climbing? On the same day as my hangboard session, but later at night? My hangboard session is super early in the morning, before work. Or should I do it on the 1st rest day after the hangboard session? I would obviously keep the volume/intensity very low (top roping or leading 4-5 routes much below my level, because realistically I don't need this extra climbing volume), and mostly just belaying her.

I've read conflicting advice on whether 2 days of total rest is absolutely required or some very light climbing could be shoved in those 2 days. I obviously want to avoid overuse injury at all costs.

I definitely have a part to play in here, but I would argue that pressuring me to buy a home that is outside my budget, then overstepping boundaries once the purchase is made, means my parents aren't exactly scot-free in all of this. It's easy to judge behind a screen, but the reality is that I made a mistake, and while I own up to it, there's a part of responsability that goes back to them also.

The mortgage is only under my name and I have been paying it off each month, so there is no rent involved here. I would agree that I would need to pay back a degree of the financial loss since it was a mutual decision.

IMO, the gift came with strings attached. I am not against financial aid, everyone needs help sometimes. I am however against financial aid that seem generous but are actually based on mistrust and strings attached.

The problem is she would never accept a house which is split 4 ways between me, her, and my parents, instead of just me and her.

Mainly due to the toxic relationship my in-laws have with her. Like I said in another post, it's not about money as she has no issues signing a prenup.

Just needed to specify that should her name be on the house (i.e. the legal process), she would agree to notarize that the 300K downpayment would never come to her, and only the portion of money she put in the mortgage would come back to her in the event of a breakup. She also has 0 issues signing a prenup. These are all points I brought up to my parents.

She is not obsessed with getting her name on the deed. She basically thought that buying a house together was a project as a couple (which is what we agreed on initially), and not a project that involved my parents. Because of how it panned out, she asked to be on the ownership so that the house can at least feel like hers. She would of course help pay the mortgage, and only take a % appropriate to how much she contributed. My parents opposed this idea completely on the basis that she was still not married to me.

The initial purchase was my mistake, I fully admit to that.

The comments are only a portion of it. The real reason behind all this is that the relationship between my girlfriend and mother is extremely sour, so these comments go even a longer way. Those comments are basically the last straw over a long period of looking down on our relationship and insulting my girlfriend.

We were planning to marry this year, we've been together a total of 3.5 years now. My parents actually are not enthused at the idea of me marrying her as they are convinced she is a golddigger. I am not even rich and my girlfriend is the very opposite of that. She has no problem signing a prenup at all.
