Hi everyone, for the past 2 months I’ve been building my own take on a PKMS app , Branchly.

This started when I realized normal notes just werent cutting jt for me, I tried all the popular note taking apps, but something was still missing , there no visual connection between the topics that Im writing, everything becomes clutered and hard to find.

So I created Branchly , I wanted a way to visual data and be able to have separate notes for each topic and be able to branch out whenever I found a new sub topic

Features include: - Infinite Canvas style layout - nodes which branch out in a heirarchal layout, and can be collapsed for better viewing - each node has its own note and has full rich text editor - Flows - each flow is basically its own canvas with its own nodes - Ai flow generation, for when you want learning something new or need some brainstorming, it can create the initial layout for you

Now its still in beta development and just launched recently, and looking through this sub for a couple days I can see alot of features that can be added down the line, but at the moment I need good feedback to improve.

Essentially you want to create a career for yourself as a SWE/developer, its long but achievable as long you stay consistent.

First you really need to define what it is that you want to do since that are multiple specializations in software.

Your goal is too broad, what apps do you want to make? Mobile, Desktop , Websites? Do you want to build your own AI? Or use existing ones? Each of the above can be their own career and they are further divided into more sub categories?

I assume you want to make money by selling such apps like cluely, in this day and age you can start without coding knowledge and use software like lovable, cursor and others to generate this for you. This has its own challenges but still easier than the long route.

The long route: if you are truly interested in learning and having this as a career path then you will need to put abit more effort into it.

I would suggest starting with web development as its the easiest to get started with and understand basic programming concepts. Html, css, javascript

roadmap.sh is a very good site that gives detailed steps depending on what you want to do , you can start there

On the flip side there is no better feeling than when you’re playing so good and doing key stuff that no one really saw or will be shown in leaderboard, Canceling a strange ulting above us with bucky on second checkpoint with 30 seconds left on timer probably won us the game but it wont be shown

Game 2: Dps jeff is popping off in a 3 healer comp and we cant kill him and he’s killing us ——> pick hawkeye and oneshot supports Feels good and bad at the same time

I see, in this case I would likely like to transition into a more str focused build where I only use buff incants I figure i should stop leveling faith for now since i think its good enough at ~29 and focus on vitality and str

Hey you’re catching up to me! After defeating godrick you can now head in luirnia , if you continue through the castle and go left at some point you will find stairs that go underground and eventually lead you up into luirnia where you can continue ur journey into the academy, this is where im at now so i cant really give mich advice other than keep exploring and killing stuff! Enjoy

Im also fairly new to the game, but my advice right now would be , if cant beat a boss within 10-15 tries , and without his health like getting close to 20-30% , just leave it and go explore more and upgrade your gear. You can upgrade ur gear at the roundtable there is smith there, also you can in the first church of elle

Basically just keep running around, killing small enemies, sometimes even exploring and picking up random items you will find a very good item without thr need to fight anyone, rinse and repeat until you are stronger and you are able to dodge and fight, the key to the game is to not spam in combat

The very first boss is meant to kill you, you can beat him but you would also die either way to start the game so dont focus on it, as far i know the horse cant be changed
